Shop Open for IMVU

My last shop in GASR brought me much insight on how I work and what I am capable of and especially where I need to improve, so thanks to all you guys who ordered. <3

I accept requests via IM’s to my ‘menstruosity’ inbox on IMVU (NOT forums) or emails in my form right here on this site. Please reference this post for any more updates to my guidelines.

// Time Frame

I will be placing a time limit for myself of 1 week to finish the art piece, this makes it fair for you and others waiting in line. If I finish earlier then I start counting a week from when I start working on that pic.

On that same token if I connect with you and within 4 days I don’t have screenies I can work with, then you will be moved down the queue, and I will accept another customer who is ready.

// Cost

My price is 100k per avatar I have to edit (or cash equivalent based on IMVUCE rates at the time of accepting screenies). Props may or may not be subject to this.

I only accept direct transfers via support tickets or paypal payments. You can blame credit pend for that.

Don’t tell me if someone else charges a different price or is willing to accept your request sooner. All the power to you and them, it will not influence my speed nor my quality for others.

// Type of Art Desired

Regarding type of work, the more lewd/ AP/ revealing/ fashionista/ naughty diva the better. I’m not all that interested in touching up basic clothing, but more interested in repainting. Sex appeal is always a huge bonus to work on, so please keep that in mind. I’m not too keen on anime or chibi styles.

I’m ok with headshots as well as bodyshots. But keep in mind headshots I have more wiggle room with how much detail/repainting I can do.

// Screenies

My primary preference is two identical screenies, one WITH AND one WITHOUT hair, accessories, piercings, eyelashes, tattoos.

Worst comes to worst I settle for baldies, but will let you know if I can work with your screenies or not.

I do not want to see any of your screenies unless I have msged you and told you you’re up in queue and I am ready to work on your picture. This helps me from over frying my brain with ideas and allows me to focus on one customer at a time. This also allows you to have your best and newest screenies available for me to choose from so you are not disappointed down the road.

// Terms of Service

I may use stock images, pattern or texture brushes for your art piece, however all hair is hand drawn by brushes I have made for myself (brushes, not brush stamps)

I will never trace or use images that are copyrighted by someone else.

Some random day of the fucking year.

Bleh.

I hate how stagnant my blog gets sometimes, I can’t tell how many times I’ve wiped it clean and decided to start over and vow to continuously update it. My mind is always running, it never stops. People tell me I type ridiculously fast, but to me, I feel like nothing on this Earth including my fingers and mouth can keep up with my mind. These past few months have marked some of my darkest days since forever and a day ago, but they’ve also made me shed several layers of skin, and I’ve come one big step closer to understanding myself, on the road to self actualization.

In my little escape from myself to myself I have slowly formulated a small family of good friends in a little pretty pixel world. Which usually seems to be the case for many internet users that were raised up with, well, the internet.
While that itself is another topic all together, I’ve realized that all these little virtual worlds do is shrink down what is still our very existence, our behaviors, our agendas, our traits, there is no escape from who you’ve made yourself out to be, regardless of how your image changes. While you can just as easily ‘x out’ of a conversation you’re hating or whatever, you still are left with a nasty flavor in your mouth.

This day in particular felt very bleak.

What can I say, we are all tainted with human error, we are never as ideal as we’d like to think ourselves to be. We are not as humble, as endearing, as loving, as hateful, as hurtful as we may think we are. We just simply are, certain traits highlighted depending on the situation. By the time I get to this point where I want to write about anything I already spent all my energy thinking and rehashing shit.

The only lesson that keeps emerging from shit days like this is, yes we can be open, honest communicators so to speak, but we are social animals whether we like it or not, we have to be considerate of when and we say certain things, or forever risk living in loneliness.

Whenever I hear someone saying they prefer to live in isolation, you can be damned sure deep down inside the loneliness is killing them. Being social take hard work and effort, I’m slowly realizing it’s not an option though, it’s a neccessity to stay sane and live out the rest of a wretched life.

It is what we make of it. There is no rest for the wicked.

LUEY Weekend 2010

Well I popped my LUEY virginity yesterday, and have to say it was my best birthday weekend outing ever :D

For those not familiar; the weekend following Fat Tuesday is dubbed ‘Let Us Entertain You’ Weekend. It originated in 73′ as a Mardi Gras thank you afterparty by the gay leather motorcycle club, the Texas Riders. Several years later the Houston Council of Clubs added the ‘Show of Shows’ on Sunday afternoon and has since become a four day social networking/ get together for like-minded folk; Leather, BDSM, bear, GLBT, and what have you.

I will not deny that I could have been more actively social but I reveled in being able to take it all in, meet a few online friends in the flesh and walk about in public holding onto my hubby’s leash. It was our first attempt at mingling with the local lifestyle community since last March. I’m not sure where all the lost time went, family issues, work, self-reflection.. it didn’t help that we didn’t enjoy our last few outings either so we were definitely hesitant at first. We’re very glad we decided to go anyway.

It turns out that the last minute t-shirt I decided to wear came in handy too! I was asked to stand in front of the unlock-able restroom twice at the Ripcord and when I folded my arms waiting it was pointed out to me I was a cop :D On the front my shirt read “Undercover cop – looking for a big bust” with a shield with a chic in the middle. I’ve never been so camera unshy when they snapped a few of it and hopefully will link a few of the photos when they’re up. For now I am ashamed to say we only took one and that’s when hubby and Tinman won their Jägermeister t-shirts :)

All in all, awesome weekend. Really looking forward to next year. Though I do hope to see more people our age but that’s a different rant all together.

In a recent chat it couldn’t have been better described that the current underworld is all jail-bait material. Don’t get me wrong, Meyers might be a wonderful writer and all, but to me vampires need to be a little more bizarre, a little more twisted and with a lot less raging hormones. I just feel dirty even thinking of the concept of fantasizing about these Edward or Jacob characters.

Her audience might be broad but for me I want to see something like The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty but with vampires and werewolves come to life. The last decent vampiric saga I saw was probably Angel and that was basically it. Before that it was the Masquerade but who pumps that shit anymore?

I need my regular fix of the dark and kinky too dammit!

But with the release of Fame Monster and Bad Romance I have to say I am more optimistic. Lady Gaga gives me hope that there’s still some creativity leaking in the dark and maybe someday something truly fresh will be available for me to sink my teeth into. Just watch:

 

Toilet seat cover coffins? Are you kidding me? That’s pure genius! And not to mention all the shiny latex and gorgeous costumes as always.

Which brings me to my next bitch. Somebody told me that they hate Lady Gaga because she is copying off of Miss Mosh’s style. Seriously? How small is your world? Miss Mosh is a gorgeous model in her own right but bitch please.

Then I have something to say to those who think Gaga doesn’t compare to Beyonce (Telephone vs Video phone). My biggest gripe is how everyone thinks Beyonce is original and Gaga a copycat. To me, Gaga might have been inspired a by a long history of amazing artists, but she is continuing that tradition of eclectic sex appeal the industry lacks.

There is nothing wrong with being inspired, but I have yet to see her outright infringe. Gaga is a long overdue breath of fresh air. To me her crotch grabbing, kinky attitude and freakish fashion sense is more of what we need. Lady Gaga please make the next vampire movie for me and flush the current trend down the toilet.

IMVU 06 vs 09

I have been on hiatus from virtual chat for a few years now… mainly because my Acer died, and IMVU, to this day, still do not provide a Mac counterpart to their chat client. I flirted around with the concept of a Second Life but to my dismay had the piss taken out of it when I realized I didn’t have a suped up gaming computer.

That was roughly three years ago and here we are welcoming Windows back into our life (meh) and lo and behold my account is still active and with a shit load of credits in it. That mixed with me working from home means I can continue where I left off…

So new things have changed as you can see…

I went from a retarded blowup doll to a very cute porcelain doll!

The clothes really upgraded too, they went from two (or so) very generic meshes to all sorts of new kinky and fun styles… check it out:

The results of this large gap (in internet years, whats three, nine years?) I’ve become very inspired.. and now with just slightly more time on my hands I feel like I have yet another outlet to exude my creativity. Now if I can just finish any one single piece of art!

S & M of Code

For WordPress, code is poetry. For me, code is like S&M. Of all the things I like to do to exercise my brain, there is nothing like hand coding a website to just knock my socks off. I get frustrated, angry, and feel severe headaches, but the thrill of actually having a finely “hand” crafted website that is aesthetically pleasing and functionally satisfying is… well… satisfying.

Thoughts on image: After painstakingly fabricating various actions and functions out of nothing but white space, an entire script can come to a halt because of one tiny syntax error. Secretary anyone?

Change is coming…

Well things since March have been quite shitty as perceived by this side of my life. I’ve let my bitterness consume me and I have neglected my beloved project; this very site..

Change is coming however, I’ll be revamping the blog probably about 75%. Things to look forward to include:

1. A massive amount of new fresh artwork that I’ve been hiding…
2. ..and a shopping cart to purchase them so I don’t have to worry about other companies’ stupid censorship rules.
3. Regular HNT observation snippets from the darkest corners of my mind (yay for those of you who like to lick my brains more than my shoes)
4. Since I feel too lazy to publish my poetry in a real book for now I’ll be releasing my poetry on here as well, one at a time.
5. An actual site redesign… yay!

..I probably feel so compelled because I’m on the verge of letting it flow soon.. feels so great to bleed.

I even skimped out on a good opportunity to fuck during the workday with my poor hubby who was just anxious with all the images I clicked away at mindlessly. :/

Anyway, I found it today and was like yes! Hot steaming sex did not ensue. But I made sure I saved the little fucker, and posted it here to share :)

First time I saw this bit I thought to myself that the lead girl, Charlie Laine, was kind of irksome in a way. Perhaps her tiny mouth, and the fact that she looked a bit experienced for her age (?). The other taller girl (Sarah Blake) was much hotter despite her overly plasticized nails. After doing some research though I discovered how beautiful Charlie has grown up(?) to be. I am assuming this is one of her earliest works anyway. She’s about my age actually, which I consider kinda old, and probably the porn industry sooner or later. Her body seems much more developed as I began to research her more but she can sometimes definitely be mistaken to be much younger. Especially in aforementioned video.

iGeneration

Well I’ve been itching to jot down this small experience during work this past week. First off you have to understand that I work at a technology dependent production and retail copy center.

Many of our customers seem to be so impartial from the technology that has woven itself into the very fabric of our lives. Surprisingly most are either in college or have higher education slapped across their foreheads and don’t even know what a memory stick or USB/Thumb/Jump drive can do (as opposed to CDs especially). They refuse to use the “help” menu when trying to figure out how to do something in a widley used program such as MS Word – such as making something bold. They cling and demand for others to solve their problems for them. As if any slight mental challenge or thoughtful effort will ruin their life. To the point that they’ve called managers on us!

I even designed a minimal verbage/highly illustrated diagram (with a good amount of arrows and bright colors) on an 11 x 17 sheet of paper and placed it next to each of our computers in our “self-service computer area” to explain in a very basic way how to scan, burn CDs, etc. A young, well dressed man carrying books (college level), approaches one of the computers, takes a minute to look at the space, then comes straight to me and asks me how to burn a CD! I literally pointed to the diagrams and read what I wrote on there and he did what he needed to do and was done. I’ve seen Veterans and much older customers hop on a computer and manage just fine – scanning, and plugging in their memory sticks… I mean what a shame!

Getting even more technical – graphic designers who have “designed business cards all their lives” complain that flattening their graphics and saving them as .PDFs ruins their work and therefore they give me some huge 800 Mb file to print – with no bleed information. Now if you are not familiar with printing large documents from a network to a large digital machine – this means that you will sit for exactly half an hour not less waiting for the file to spool to the printer. Not very fun at all. Especially when it is a copy center and not a press we’re talking about here.

(I might actually go into more depth about making things print ready later on.)

Not this one kid though. Nope. The boy is barely in 8th grade and talking to me about HTML and his little chart in Excel. He didn’t ask for any help as he was looking up solutions to get his homework printed – and once he gave up on printing it on his own he dug through ink cartridges to match his printer at home. His favorite subject was history he had said – learning from the past to live the future.

I’ve never been too fond of kids but the genius in him glowed. It was quite refreshing from the usual. Why can’t everyone else do things for themselves? Seek knowledge and be above the slackers. If I have kids, I can only hope they have the same ambitions to exploit the world around them.
